The intellectual roots of of Nexus Litigation Ventures' founding team are embedded in the legacies of top-tier investment firms along with some of the nations fiercest Litigation firms.
However, our decision-makers boldly diverged from those established paths. Instead, they opted to innovate, recalibrating the conventional investment blueprint.
John Colantoni and Jamie Bosworth, our visionary Co-Founders, conceptualized a straightforward idea: orchestrate an autonomous enterprise, unshackled from the constraints of financial institutions and the typical return profiles.
This revolutionary approach was designed to sidestep the limitations and compromises rampant in the standard paradigm. Their groundbreaking strategy quickly bore fruit, creating a foundational capital pool that spurred Nexus Litigation Ventures' swift ascent.
With over 10 years of experience in the legal industry and a background in Risk Management, Strategic Quantitative Analysis. John’s experience managing nearly $500 million in spend over 250 different mass torts, gives him an edge in finding unique data opportunities.
John graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor’s in Economics and is dedicated to ensuring Nexus Litigation Fund 1 is a success.
James L. Bosworth Jr. is a seasoned financial executive, and notably was a previous top leader at Callaway Golf (MODG). As a Founder of a sports & lifestyle media company that reached over 100M subscribers, he led a $50M capital raise and was selected to testify in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
He’s a prominent figure in Charleston, SC, on the board of the LENS Foundation and numerous community-based philanthropic organizations. An alumnus of Seton Hall University, he was the chair of the 2023 US Junior Amateur Championship at Daniel Island and previously worked at Pebble Beach.
